I don't own an SC, but have cars on both sides of these years. I haven't ever had an issue with my cars over heating at idle. Is this a pulley ratio/fan scenario or the CIS and band aid fixes often...

The center section has to be cooled by something other than air. The bearings aren't air cooled, no more than a Porsche engine is....... It's oil cooled aided by air.
