Mag Trans started midway thru 69 model year. IIRC, you are correct on the diff. It should have the bigger bearings and a push clutch. Good luck with the sale. Cheers!

Ken, those numbers do not match up. Engine serial # started with 610...post a pic here to verify your eyeballs are functioning correctly.

Awesome work Fixer! If you are running S calipers, be sure to check clearances! Offset may need to be adjusted for spacers to clear calipers larger than "M".

Hi Herman, A 993 pump will generate quite a bit of oil pressure...too much. I would stick with a aluminum SC/3.2 oil pump. Don't forget to use my sump plate! (available through our host!)

Weird, I did not know they had a cam doctor....SC cams would be a great grind for the turbo. Personally, I send all my cams to Dougherty Racing Cams.

Seals without a spring are considered a Grease seal. Seals for oil conditions require a spring.

Mahle ring gap is for a Ductile iron top ring...different materials have different expansion rates...this includes rings.

Sounds like your distributor is starting to advance around idle. It is common as the springs weaken over time. you may be able verify with a timing light.
