I have a 2007 Cayman S that I use for HPDE. Can I swap front 997 Carrera S calipers and rotors (330 x 34mm) for the front Cayman S calipers and rotors (318 x 28mm)?

Yes. However, the car is 90% HPDE and 10% street driven. I trailer the car to any event more than 100 miles and rarely drive at night. Given that, can this be removed?
