I think you already checked this, but I will reiterate: Make sure that vacuum reservoir vacuum line is hooked up, and it connected to your little check valve.

Porterfield R4-S is a great street/light track duty pad. Dust is not too bad, and they last a lot longer than OEM's.

What you are describing sounds like a bad booster/check valve, but you are saying that those checked out fine...

This will be harsh on the street for anything but the smoothest of roads, even with the "lightest"...

The wires may be switched. Disconnect both of them and see what the light/gauge says.

Sounds like you are running a 3.5bar FPR, which is 50.7psig

You should only get this when the vacuum line is removed and plugged.
