I've found the Wevo shifter to be incredibly easy to install correctly, first shot using the Wevo instructions. Meanwhile, I've done it enough times that I don't even refer to the instructions...

Years ago when I rebuilt mine, I found a thick canvas material at one of the local boating marina's that worked out great.

I believe it was just basic canvas used to make custom boat covers.
