Both are August 1956 edition and in excellent condition.

Both have identical content but one has colour cover.

Yup, that worked. Turn the key to power on the electrics but not starting the engine, then open the lid and look for the silver toggle on the left hand side to raise the spoiler.

Cant figure out...

Problem solved...it was the pesky switch. Bought two OEM ones from Porsche, now I have a spare for when one of the other two left stops working. Thanks for the tips and suggestions.

Later today, I will remove the working switch...

Later today, I will remove the working switch from the passenger door and put it on the driver side to see if this works. Really hoping its not the motor.
