Sounds like your pistons might be sticking a bit in that calliper. Next time you drive it for a few minutes stop and check if that wheel is warmer than the others. This is usually a good indicator...

Why not do an oil and filter change, drive it a bit and see how much it is consuming. If itís not much do it later, if it is much keep putting fresh oil in. Thatís not a bad thing

If you are bothered about crud getting in them the best solution is wheel arch liners which probably stop at least 90% of grit,***** and water getting into all of those areas of your wheel arches...
