Car dollies/castors - Experience with?

Does anyone here use dollies or castors to store and/or move a vehicle around a garage? The type that fit underneath the tires so you can roll the vehicle around.

^^ I wonder if it has something to do with the much higher engine temps that BMW (and many newer cars) run these days. The rubber gaskets just end up getting cooked.
