I use a Harbor Freight 1,000 lb capacity lifting...

I use a Harbor Freight 1,000 lb capacity lifting table to set the motor on. Also modified the engine stand so it rolls under the lifting table to slide the motor onto the stand.

Is there any particular external voltage regulator I should use with a Valeo alternator? The alternator and regulator came on a '76 930 motor I bought a few years back. I had the alternator rebuilt....

I noticed .5 leaner with with clamp vs weld in. I found it was best used with the rpm converter. I would make 3,000-7,000 rpm blasts on slightly up hill on-ramps. Then down load onto a laptop.
