Freshly mated cylinder and heads coupled with ARP studs make for the best seal. These motors move around ALOT!!!! If you add gaskets and lift a head you ruin the gasket requiring replacement....

Oil is typically 10 degree hotter than water. I run a 180 degree thermostat and usually see 185-190 temps at all times When up to temp. I don’t see run away temps nor do I see IAT’s over 100F......

+1 on not enough timing down low. you should ramp from idle to 2500rpm to atleast 36 BTDC. And as you are on boost climbing RPM's take timing away. Doing this alone will wake up the response...
