I find repairs on vintage Porsches and VWs to be similar in that a significant number of repairs must be performed in small spaces with JUST enough clearance to get hands and tools in position....

+1 on the valve adjust. I did it last Spring with engine out of car and it was painful enough! I also got the Snap-Gap with the knowledge I would absolutely need it to do my next valve adjust in car....
