Agreed! That's why I initially used the pulley method. The threaded piece popped off. So brute force was needed as a final solution. I even drilled and tapped it to try to pull it again, but no dice....

When I spec'd them I told them I wanted a simple bolt on setup. Basically take stock wheels off and put the 17's on. Easy peezy! It turned out pretty good. No issues at all.
