Wiring the headlight relay kit into a Euro car?

Hey all, question about the Euro cars versus the US cars as far as the wiring goes.

I got the relay kit for the headlights to take the voltage off the dimmer switch, but I've got an '85...

NICE!!!

I'm gonna get a set of them on order. It looks like SUCH a better solution than the OEM units. If I ever need to do exhaust work again, it'll be no-issue.

I checked the ARP part number 771-1004 and it's a bolt.

I found their studs, and they are all M8x1.25mm pitch. That should be the same as the OEM pitch, so as long as I got the 2" ARP (50.8mm...

I'll get pics tomorrow. From memory, the flange looked maybe 10-12mm thick. Closer to 12mm I think.

Good call.

I'm seeing "non-corrosive hardware" offered by Pelican, which is appealing, despite the price, but the OEM 930 studs are 50mm and the non-corrosive kit ones are 22mm.

I've sent them...

Crap.

I'll look for a set of 9" Fuchs, but MAN, this was an expense I didn't want.

Should've held out for an '86.

On a related note, I have a '85 Turbo with 8" Fuchs in the rear and 225s, but I want the later, wider 245s. Do I NEED the 9" Fuchs or would it be OK to mount the 245s on the 8s? I worry the...

I too wonder why the 930 isn't more sought after in the Porsche world. I read the "Market Reports" in Excellence and they say that the 911 Turbos have a small but loyal following and folks that like...

Wheel and ride height questions.

Hey all, still enjoying the 930 and getting more familiar with it every day.
