I believe it's out of adjustment...try to re-spline the shifter connector until you get all the gears to engage including reverse. This may take several tries.

Whoa...you found FOD. I'd do an engine compression check to make sure there's no broken ring lands. If compression checked good then maybe the FOD was from the headers.

I have the same disk in mine with KEP stage 1 PP. I never heard stage 1/2. Only stage 1 or 2.

Anyway I can only think of two possibilities.
1. The Kevlar disk may be glazed over from excess...

No...I did not have to buy CR alternator...yeah it's pricey!! Those who have weaker alternators (less than 90A) would need to upgrade and those with 90A driving in heavy traffic often would benefit...
