1987 cab project FS

Thinking about selling my '87 cab. Back about 10 years ago, I widebodied it, attached a rare factory hardtop, added '87 turbo struts, swing arms and brakes, factory 930 tail and got it painted black....

does anyone actually use flat rate anymore? as the cars get older and greasier and rustier and more worn, it takes a lot longer to repair them. it takes a day just to clean parts for a valve grind....

with the tensioner in a vise, push the plunger...

with the tensioner in a vise, push the plunger down and use a smallish screwdriver to set one side of the snap-ring into the groove, on an angle of course. do not look directly down on the plunger....

pop out the gas gauge, reach in and pull it out....

pop out the gas gauge, reach in and pull it out. should be easy to locate, with all the noise it makes. if the gas gauge hole is too small for your hand, the next hole over will work too.
