Mine died on the road, thought it was the fuel pump, swapped it out and got it running again..... Only to have it randomly die again in another drive after about 16...

A lot of your value is going to rely on the parts and documentation you can provide with the car. While an S ends up being worth more than the sum of its parts, a 912-6 is a different beast...
