Thule used to have a #34 fit kit for late 944's. not sure if that fits the 924S or not. It's NLA now also.

Yakima may be your best bet; I think I saw someone on here who found one that could work.

Get the shop manual for the 944. It's all in there. You also need to glue the oil pump to the block in a similar fashion, as well as the balance shaft covers.

There's a relay on the motor (front PS of the engine compartment, all covered in rubber) that may have died.

I believe that there are 2 fuses for this, so make sure you check both.
