If you can find a machine shop in your area take the part there. A EDM machine can "blast" the broken stud out without damaging the aluminum. pretty slick operation....

yes same thing happened to me, on a v8 but when cleaning the filter, the carb was coated inside with fine powder like dust. the price you pay for high flow air. Racing, they're fine.

yellow circled bung is for MFI warm up, #2 is from engine cooling fan too shrouds and cabin. There are SSI's for MFI and carbs/CIS models, make sure you get the correct one.
the MFI gets two hoses...
