I have used Zimmerman rotors (think that is the brand) and I think I got them via Pelican. No probs. The Porterfield R4S pads should be fine too. No good for track - but S is their street pad.

Agree. Hard to see it slicing its way out. But being pinched and sliced at assembly is more common.
I always put some CRC on them at assembly.

I had my SC unit apart a month or two ago - intermittent headlights. Same issue.
Be careful pulling the housing apart - it is held together with some small sneaky screws. Do not force.

I got a 964 IC off Chris (TK). Can't remember the cost, but with all the associated bits provided also it worked out a decent route to go as an upgrade to stock.

Just using regular relay - from up front trunk. If you get the issue again you can pull one of those and swap - not the FP ones - but also used for air con, windows etc. Those ones are all the same....

A simple way to check the cams are not 180 deg out;
Take the RHS inlet valve cover off and find your Z1 setting for that. You can visually guess what 1.8mm looks like without fitting dial gauge...
