How to remove front fenders?

Removing the front fenders from an 88 944 and have removed all the bolts but cannot get the fender off. What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated.

I may be picking up a 1988 NA car in the next few days and it was hit softly front and rear, kind of a sandwich at an intersection thing, the car runs and drives nice and the body damage is minimal...
