Help identifying engine, where to look for numbers?

I have been cleaning up my late dads storage and found this engine the other day. Quick glance I didnít see any numbers stamped, so not sure where to look.

Any insight on what year/model it is.

There were leaks on the rubber hose on the sump and both oil pan gaskets. I changed those and did a bunch of cleaning and these leaks came up still. It was leaking much worse. Hopefully these 2...

i tried to browse, but was confused with all the hoses. couldn't find a diagram for their locations. Hoping someone just has the part numbers handy or the host post them up.

Thanks, yea have a hydraulic hose shop not too far from me. Anyone know the part numbers for the hoses? If they are not that much i might as well buy new ones and save the time.

They aren't leaking from where the hose is crimped, I cleaned them off and it's the fitting that's leaking.

There are 2 small leaks on my 80 sc, I tried to tighten the hoses but they are already tight. Not sure what's the best way to stop the leaks. Leaking at the larger nuts that come off the rubber...

Question about timing marks, smog shop failed me 79 911SC

i have a late build 79 911SC.

The timing on the lid says that the car needs to be at 5 BTDC. The smog shop failed the car because they said it was 7ATDC.

Would not disconnecting the vac lines...
