Found it......1986 CIS shows a testing pressure of 6.7-7.4 bar, with adjusting pressure of 6.9-7.1 bar.

Yep, 7.4 bar is 107 psi. You're not going to use cheap hose and clamps on that!........;)

If you can get away with one pump for your horsepower level, that's the best way, less failure points. The factory only used two pumps in series to get the pressure high enough for CIS....

True, but the M&W CDI box only needs a trigger and can accept a dwell range of 0.5-1.0ms. All the magic happens in the box. Once triggered, the box sends a high 480V capacitive pulse to the coil.
