Again, I'm recommending you REPLACE that braided...

Again, I'm recommending you REPLACE that braided ground wire, not just clean or tighten it. 10 minute job that has a good chance of solving your problem IMO...

If you're actually using fluid in that Motive pressure bleeder, replace those aged hoses ASAP. After a while, they'll want to blow out on you and spray fluid all over your trunk.... been there, done...
