Thanks Harold, it took a bit of time to resolve the layout geometry then I needed to up my limited welding skills at my local maker space where they have the 220 volt machines to melt the parts...

All the fabricating and layout on the front suspension has been done by me so far.
Thusly the somewhat crude metal work. I will clean up all the parts and chassis paint them eventually...

Yep, I had to work from the wheel and tire size (235/40/17 et 60) backward. The first take I had the wheel too close to the front so moved it back 3/4".

Hey jadewombat, the crossmember is from the 928s4.
I posted a picture of it on my Samba thread but not here, it is very helpful in positioning the lower arms (which are angled out) and forms the top...
