That was part of the Super Carrera mistique, less wind drag. You needed it with the 3.0 :)

They had the early style sport seats too, and non power like you mentioned. I like non power as you can slide the seat all the way...

Just to add, 84's still had pretty early interior, small a/c vents, 3 spoke wheel, maybe even the rubber boot on the shifter...but with the 3.2.
I like 84's for that reason.

As I recall the package was paint, Sport seats trimmed in an orange piping. the tail and the color matched wheels..... But they were 15's which I didn't understand ? ...
