after searching operating info & ohms,
I found it checked ok.-- traced my problem
to erratic fuel pump.

Question Did porsche change valve guides in 77 ?

I read somewhere recently that porsche changed
to a better quality valve guide in 1977 2.7 model yr.

Is this true?
