Smile or no smile? Iroc front bumper..

Should be getting my new bumpers next week. These are for turbo flares.. Ive seen a few guys use the rubber "smile" and some not.. I think it looks fine both ways, just wondering if there is a reason...

Name the mystery wires, Are these holes supposed to be there?

I have a pair of these wires coming out of the taillight harnesses on each side, both flapping away in the wind.. Where should they go? Should I mention my reverse lights do not work? :P Probably...

I had more grief with the damn windshield than the rear glass! Installing that is.. Removal shouldn't be the hard part.
All the trim needs to come off, pretty easy to see what goes first.
