Ischmitz, timing light indicates a spark, so the starter fluid test won't add any new info.

9) opening the fuel test port after cranking shows a few ounces of fuel dribbling out. So the pump is pumping. Not clear...

Clogged injectors doesn't seem like a good match. Unlikely that all six injectors would be clogged so completely that there would be no smell of gas at all.

I picked up a relatively unmolested '84 Carrera recently. It came with wheel locks, but no key. Are these Porsche OEM for that vintage? No Porsche logo on the dust covers.
