Yeah... ;)

If you've got good enough spring rate to keep down the roll angle - we're running 600's up front, but 400 might be enough - we find our Hoosiers (radial race tires) like around 3...

The key question here is tires, actually, and since the DP cars were on bias-ply slicks with many other different bits, their setup probably won't work well for you - I'm guessing you'll be on...

Fuses, relays, power and ground to the ECU are usually pretty easy to test (and cheap to fix), I'd start there.

Nice find!

We actually went with an AIM Mychron dash instead of a ton of gauges, with the advantage of course of full data logging etc. Plus one additional hang-on large light to warn of low oil...

But that relates to the speed of failure, not to mention the conductivity tests. Also, if it failed to get those signals, you'd have the same result (faulting out) when restarting at speed.

No, it's not the sensors - those will fault at any speed, as the monitoring and plausibility algorithms are running continuously.

The "self test" is indeed what's catching you, as you've already...

You've done just about everything I could think of; have owned two, but usually the trans doesn't have issues. One car did have a problem with a worn shift selector, back at the trans; slop there in...

Doesn't sound as much like a speed sensor. Sounds to me like the valve relay; every ignition cycle when you reach enough speed (10kph or so) the unit goes through a self test, running the pump motor...
