Maybe I am off the mark here but HP does not change according to mass...HP is a fixed amount of energy that an engine produces. Reducing weight does not increase HP it results in a more efficeint use...

Thats why it is looped up before going into the bottle. I have a small bottle and get very little in it..I suspect it is mainly vapours that collect on the filter and then drip into the catch bottle.
