VIN 458120, proof of US registration

Hi!

This may be a long shot. But I have problems here i Norway trying to get my 912 road legal. The Norwegian DMV requires proof that the car has been registrated in the US.
It was imported to Norway many years (and owners) ago. Any tips are much appreatiated. Thanks Jon

Try asking at the 912BBS.
It may be easier if you have an old USA Lic. plate.
Good Luck!

If you have the old license plate I can get you proof. I’ll see what I can get with the Vin #

You’ll probably need to obtain a kardex for the car from davep who’s on various Porsche sites. This should tell you if the car first landed in the United States (or elsewhere.)

A problem since at least 2010 and perhaps 30 years earlier. If it left California in the 80's then it may be off their books now. I can get the Kardex, but not sure if it will show when and where it was sold. I do know a cop in CA that may be able to help.
