Well it would appear to have passed muster, and was complemented by many "R Gruppe" and "early S registry" members in attendance over the weekend at the Ventura Porsche Meet.
1973 Porsche 911 "RST" Gulf Orange, over the top labor of love over the past 2 years, all the right bits, 85 liter plastic tank, RS alloy callipers, sportseats, 914/6 steering wheel, all new everything, detailed engine and trunk areas, full tool kit, spacesaver, Porsche compressor, German Books and Blue Carrera RS supplement, Fuchs 7"sx8"s, powerfull tight and oil free engine with webers and SS heat exchangers giving S power from matching numbers CIS high compression engne, 4 corner balance etc. etc and most important a working Behr A/C with rotary compressor so that you can actually enjoy driving it in comfort. Full 60 picture fotofile and other details available to interested parties, POA, not cheap but under actual build costs, will consider partial trade for 1993 Roadster, 1994 Speedster, or 993 Targa or 993S.............. ![]() ![]() Last edited by mycarrera2.7rs; 09-10-2006 at 07:11 PM.. |

I have also just listed it with the early 911S registry,
there is not another car like this one around, the level of finish and detail amazing, there has been a lot of interest but nothing firm yet, now is the time to come and see it, drive it and have a PPI done, please don't let this one go to the bay...... bump

build costs were horrific,
and parts alone are a king's ransom, that is why I am asking $ 55K for this car..... see below how quickly you can get uppy-down in this kind of project........ a great 911 with history and documentatio, I have the full file on the original car, but basically a good 1973 911T is $ 20-k show paint everything off with all new rubbers deco, lenses, parts, and detail of engine and trunk $ 15-k all new interior with headliner, carpets, sports seats etc. $ 7-k Plastic tank with all new hoses, correct cad plated fitting, space saver and proper Porsche pump $ 4.5k fuchs 7"s and 8"s with new tires $ 2-k fully deisgned and installed custom behr A/C with rotary compressor and 2 collectors $ 8-K Carrera RS 914/6 steering wheel $ 800- rebuilt pair of S RS alloy front callipers $ 2.500- RS single stage heated rear window Getty F/G parts $ 1.200- weber carb complete set up and installation $ 3500- stainless steel heatexchangers fitted $ 1450- Butt welding metal flare, no bondo, and flaring out the rear metal bumpers $ 1600- Full correct tool kit $ 800- Correct Blue RS supplement book $ 175- and I could go on for another $ 10k plus on little stuff that I can't even remember like all new lenses and H headlights, new decco trim, strip and install, 2 windshields, etc. etc. I'm in the car over $ 70k which is stupid, I know
