Reenspeed / GTracing - 911ST flares ?
Guys, I know there are lots of posts about fiberglass flares out there, but I simply don't know what to do. Which is best for a 911ST replica, Rennspeed or GT_racing ? Front and back 9" fiberglass flares.
Does anyone have photos of these ST flares on the car ? I know Hank at GT_racing took molds of a real ST, does anyone have a photo of exactly this flare on the car ? It's photos of these exact flares on the car I'm looking to find before ordering. Thanks.

I got my ST fenders from Rennspeed this past summer and have been very happy with the fit. I also got there front bumper and hood and they also fit very well. I just took them off the car to pain the tub so I don't have any pictures of them on the car, but if no one has any I could put it back together and show you the fit. Let me know.

Sp441 : thanks for your reply. It would be nice to see a photo, but only when its not any work. just taped onto the fender or something. I'm really wondering if the rear flare is too wide...
thanks, Jim.

Sp441 :
one other thing : on the Rennspeed website the flare has no hole for the sway bar... did you cut one, or was it pre-cut by them ?

I like Rennspeed for good quality at a great price. And no matter who you chose, there will still be a lot of fitment work.
Personal opinion, but I think the secret to an ST look right is to push out the front wheel into the fender. the pics I've seen of replicas with wheels tucked in just don't look right. Good luck!

I am planning on going over to the shop on wed. I can get some pictures then. My rear flares are completer quarters from a Carrera so I do have the torsion bar hole. The rear flares are going to be reworked a litte around the wheel well to get the right edge on them. Jpnovak posted a excellent thread on how to do this, complete with pictures.

yeah I saw that thread. Trying to get a more rounded lip on the flare.
I posted Rennspeed a question about the hole, but if you're there on wednesday and could ask them that would be great! Jim.
