1989 GP White 930 FS
GP White exterior/Dark blue interior. G50 five speed. Stock. Appears to be set to "euro" ride height. 25,xxx miles. Recently (days ago) purchased/delivered to me (Northcentral Wisconsin) via a broker from second owner (Oregon) after an extensive PPI that completely failed to acknowledge the issue most important to me. The car has had paint work to the driver's side body panels as well as both rockers (white overspray under car, tell-tale paint edges....). The carfax does not show any accidents and the panel VINs match up. Also, the body colored wheels' outer rims have been chromed and show signs of corrosion under the chrome.
These issues are not readily detectable unless one looks for them specifically yet matter enough to me that I will sell the car and then legally pursue the inspector for the difference b/w my investment and the selling price (I've offered to settle this between us and he has denied any responsibility). On the up side, the rest of the PPI was very good to exceptional with uniform compression/leakdown at 150 psi/4% for each cylinder (documented). Car starts, runs, drives, shifts, turns and stops as it should. No rattles. Sony CD head unit. Car needs the factory tool kit as it is MIA. Paint is not a "1" as indicated by the PPI. Passenger headlight lens will need to be replaced. Images to follow. I will cooperate, disclose and image as requested for prospective buyers. I will not mis-represent this car (as it was to me). Priced at $46K and I'm losing a pile of money there. If genuinely interested, please e-mail questions. Last edited by pavulon; 06-13-2007 at 05:09 PM.. |
