F/S 1987 Carrera 3.2 G50 coupe red, BEST OFFER
OK so i was wrong on this one, told my wife I would always be able to get what I paid for it
![]() Wrong time of year, wrong market, perfect car, I have listed this car starting at 23, then 20 and now BEST OFFER, I love this car but have no room or need for it. I have owned the car for several years and ussually was able to put 1000 miles a summer on it but this year less than 500. Winter is coming to the northeast and know that someone else would appreciate it much more. I am not stuck on value, even though the Excellence article made it seem like these cars were climbing ![]() I have decided to drop my price way down, have not had a lot of interest locally, I will be letting this car go for less than some local SC's with less options. Search 02832 on Auto trader if your curious!!!!!!! ![]() The Car is an 87 Carrera 3.2 5 speed g50 car in Excellent shape. Brand new Yoko AVS tires all around, less than 500 miles. Windows out respray better than factory, done to remove road chips, car is stored indoors and perfect. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=203678656&dealer_id=57989566&car_year=1987&mod_bookmark_id=null&search_type=both&num_records=25&make=POR&distance=50&model=&address=02832&certified=&advanced=&max_price=&bkms=1156856376884&min_price=&end_year=1988&start_year=1985&lang=en&cardist=0 Thats the autotrader link. This car must go soon, if you are seriously interest in a RED porsche with black interior in almost perfect shape contact me. HERE IS WHATS WRONG, one wheel has a slice of chrome missing the size of a quarter, drivers side seat has 3 inch seam separation between legs( has iggys covers on it) my broom fell and left a dent on hood to the left of the right light. Smaller than a dime ( you might not see it) but its there. and the rear window molding is missing a center piece of plastic that connects the two outer pieces( cosmetic) very small. Has weltmeister chip, factory cats, and exhaust, and a cold air intake. all in all with the g50 and 3.2 a very respectable and Quick car. My profile only refers to it as the slug because of its big brother parked next to it. Before you make low ball offers, be serious, I may take them, WHY, I have 2 kids, a business and am very busy. I have no time for multiple cars right now. MY loss will be some ones dream car. I looked for ober a year for this car, but now must let it go. dave 401-439-7450 |

![]() ![]() Those are the only 2 interior pictures i could find. But realised they were not on the other site and someone asked for them. Bump ![]() Also I forgot to mention, I may be interested in trades, One of my reasons for letting this car go is 2 young children, with porsches and motorcyle i can't really get everyone togehter( except in chevelle) I may be interested in 68-71 chevelles, camaro or challenger /barracuda CONVERTIBLES. No basket cases. For partial trade against this car. If teir is a reasonable cash offer then It supercedes a trade. |

Bump AND Answers to many questions.
I did a Carfax when I bought it, I think it was in Texas and then Nevada in the 80's and 90's anyone who wants can have a carfax done. I do not have the original from when I purchased. I have no clue how many owners or previous history. I bought it from a dealer who had it on consignment from regular customer and collector. It was what I wanted and I bought it. Bonus was it was registered in RI and the plate was 87911 YEAH. As far as PPI, no. I am a mechanic and the shop that had the car let me take it for a day before i bought it, (wow) and since then I have only put maybe 2500 miles on it. Yeah I know maybe 4K i can't remember. I wil take to a local GURU for a PPI, at my conveinience. I do not know what it takes to pass a ppi but i'm sure this car will not dissapoint. I would strongly suggest a in person inspection. Buying a car sight unseen seems aggressive but to each his own. I believe the Local Porsche guys name is "buck" barber and he works at European imports in 02891. I'm sure he will come highly recommended. There is also another guy named Hanes in Sonington CT that I have heard has a porsche shop. The nearest Dealer is Inskip in Warwick RI. I am Not giving the car away and paying for a PPI so those that want to seriously purchase the car are welcome to pay for one. If it ends up needing a lightbulb, We are not haggling price. I LOVE THIS CAR, if i dropped the price to my offers(frm Pelicans) in AUTOTRADER it would sell yesterday. But I want the car to stay with someone who will treat it like the GEM it is. I have had several offers for 15-15,500 and one for 16 and one for 16.5. the 15K offers I have asked to stay in touch. but anyone at or over 16.5 would want to be the first here with cash. I will go. it's not an auction. its a search for the first responsible parent with the means to buy my baby. Car is paid in full and registered in my name in the state of RI, They take the titles on cars over 10 years when you register. I may be able to apply for a duplicate or will help in anyway to arrange proper title/documentation for you. even if I have to pay a title service. |

Bump.
I have been told by several pelicans that this car comes back with TMU and some salvage history, thought I would pass that along. When they ran the carfax. Also I cannot currently get a title from my state. Rhode island had sent me a very nice letter denying my request for a duplicate title . The say that they do no title cars over 10 years old. If anyone still wants the car i will be more than happy to pay for title through a titling agency. http://www.broadwaytitle.com/index.htm I drove this car yesterday and have rethought my take any offer policy, I will keep this car, it is beautiful and drives like a top. Any reasonable offers will be considered otherwise shes mine. Steal this car now before i put her away for winter or don't. I am listing on ebay next week Maybe, but that will be the court of last resort. No money and she remains part of the collection. |
