FS: Rare Wheels 9 and 11 x 15 Campagnolo
Looking for something unique for your RSR or wide body 914-6 GT ?
How about these? 9 and 11 x 15 magnesium alloys for the porsche bolt pattern. Very light and strong: 14 lbs on the 9 x 15 and 16 lbs on the 11 x 16. Great backspacing too so they will fit a 930 w/o having to deal with fender problems- 4.75 on the 9 and 5.75 on the 11. Cost is $3500 firm for the set of four Enjoy!

wheels
do these have a bead to hold the tire on or are they smooth like a deep 6 inch Fuchs?
Thanks KD |

I can see the bead in 2 of the pics.
Dave, what other sizes did they make? I wonder if looking for some of these that would fit a stock SC/Carrera is plausible? |

There's also a guy on Samba in the wheel classifieds with some 5x130 Campagnolo wheels. Different look, though.

i don't know if they made other sizes. The italian company made them in response to demand in the early 70's from all the italian market RSR's and similar racers. Back then there were import duties from country to country in europe, so these were an attractive alternative to the big fuchs rims at the time.
If i did not have so many #$@* personal projects stacked up (i am thinking maybe 10 -15 years before they are all finished?!) they would stay in my personal stash for a cool looking ST style wide body long hood- it would look nasty !

They really are way cool. I want something different, but I'm afraid 11's would be a trifle large for my car.

There was a guy that use to have a bunch of different sizes of Campagnolo Wheels that sold Ferrari and Alfa parts at the Palm Springs Vintage Races. I haven't been for a few years so not sure if he still goes there.
Nice wheels you have there Dave.

there is no safety bead or even a hint of one- so you better keep them properly inflated at all times- we are selling these for racing purposes only- your responsibility where and how you use them
thanks dave

On $3500 rims, I don't believe the shipping will be of any consequence since they are so light. The Duties across the border for something like this might be of some quanity since I'd claim value for insurance reasons at this level and Mag isn't that durable to shipping hands.
