GTR found in Singapore

Hello
Went to see a friend in Singapore and came across this car.
I'm told that the car came in from Spain after one race. The present owner
have the car for 10 years and still collecting parts for the restoration.
How many of this were made ?

Cheers
Burint

What a rare and wicked looking beast you have there. Of the 924 Carrera GT, there were only 406 made. For racing there were 59 924 Carerra GTS pushing nearly 250 horsepower. Of the 924 Carrera GTR, only 19 were ever made. Depending on specification, they could make up to 375 bhp. What a beauty, and a real motorsport legend.

I like how the redline is 8000 RPM. I wonder what that motor sounds like spinning that fast?

All turbo whooshing, snarling, screaming scrote....
I'm a 968 owner, and a former 944 owner, but nothing gets me wet like the 924 Carerra GT. It's just sex on wheels as far as I am concerned. It's a monster that breathes fire and oozes attitude.

I notice it has what looks like two places to fill the gas tank. One on the left rear fender and one on the rear.

BTW, if current owner wants to get rid of it, I'll take a donation.

That is indeed a beautiful car. I absolutley love the body work.. so mean looking.

I found this car for sale, i believe in Singapore or China.. i cant remember a few months ago. It was defenetley somewhere in Asian (a little broad i know). Interesting to see two of these rare cars in that region..

I seem to remember the asking price being something like US $120k.

Hi Burint,

Nice pics. I am currently living in Singapore. Is there any chance that you can arrange a viewing of the car for me?

I will also be glad to host the movies.

Hi Andrew,
The GTR is actually belong to someone else. He has it stored in the same paint shop that my friend went to. I just ask the owner for permission to take some pictures. I'll try if f I run into him the next time.
Sorry about that
Burint

Looks like there are four filler-tubes in the trunk. What are they for?

There's 3 - gas on each side, oil to the tank for the dry-sump in the back.

Looks nice!

Didn't someone here build a "replica" of that car?
