WTB: Factory 75-77 930 Whale tail
I have a early production 77 930 with a 78 on 930 tail. The car is 99% original, including paint, however has the wrong tail. That's the 1% not original. A previous owner sold the original tail and put the current tail on the car. I will pay top dollar for a correct factory 930 tail if in excellent condition. Thanks Noah. The early tail I am looking for sounds like your twin grille type. I know for a fact the Carrera 3.0 tail is not correct for my car. If it helps, the car is a US spec car, produced 11/76, but is a 1977 model year car.
Do you have a pic of the twin grille tail (small second grille) you can post or send via e-mail so I can confirm is it the one I am looking for? Thanks, Scott |

Genuine 77 Turbo tail
I have a tail from a 77 930, which I bought to comply with the local tarmac rally regs. I'm now in another class hence it's for sale. It's genuine, constructed from fibreglass bonded to a steel frame, must have been a bugger to manufacture. Has the larger cut-out for 77-model air con. Pics attached.
