However, I think that I may have come up with a reasonably-priced solution that is readily-available too...

The photos below show a Momo steering wheel (a 380mm Monza in this case) attached to a Nardi hub by means of an 'adapter'.

The (off the shelf) adapter (which is approx 8mm thick) bolts to the Nardi hub (model no. 0146) & then the Momo wheel bolts to the adapter.

Although this could be used 'as is', in order to make this a perfect fit there is a raised central lip (about 2-3mm deep) at the top of the hub which needs to be machined off (yellow arrow) to allow the adapter to mate flush with the hub.

Where would one get the adaptor that is shown on the right hand side of the second picture?

Looks pretty easy to make one of those. Any machine shop could do it with some dimensions.

Bob - Did you ever find an early non-collapsable Momo hub? I was going through some boxes and I found this one - let me knwo if interested.
