Someday I'd like to put those 924S gauges in my car. I'm surprised more early 944 owners don't do it more often.

Is it possible to put the tach in the center slot instead of the speedometer? It seems like a more logical location.

Woa, I did not know that it was possible to swap in the 924 gauges. Are they a direct connection with the early 944 wiring harness??? The 924 has some nice looking gauges.

Whole gauges or just faces?

Did you swap the whole gauge set, or is it just the faces? Does anybody make a gauge face kit that still works will illumination?

Smile Whoa!

These white gauges are NOT out of a 924 or a 924S. I bought white gauge faces for my 83 944 and put them in myself. Yes, you can swap around the tachometer and speedometer and I have not seen alluminated gauge faces for the early 944's. Here is another picture of the gauges.

heh unfortunatley my project is coming along alot slower than i hoped... but hey atleast its still coming along right? hmm anyhow on this topic of guages and the inquireies about indiglo ...well as much as i know/realize most of you dilsike the whole racer/ricer topic and stuff, i gotta let u know, i liked the whole idea of indiglo guages as well, and my search was fruitless except in those circles... with a little modification, i installed some into ma 44 or rather had someone do it for me (heh) but it worked out well and looks good... so hm i dunno u might wanna look at that route if your not to disgusted by the thought ;D heh anyhow good luck on your search
