From 6/27-28
I took these! Some of my favorites of the 275 shots during the two half hour races. ![]() ![]() KT

Wow! What A surprise to see this photo. I was driving the white #32. The photo is about lap 7 of Saturdays race right after my buddy hit me between turn-in and the apex for Turn 2. I did go on to beat him and also got 1st in GTL class. That was a great race.

Orange car got together with the plain yellow in Sats race coming out of the carousel - you can see the yellow's hood is still not right in the second pic. Driver was ok but shaken up and didn't come back on Sun. We transported his car to the mechanics but think he's done for the year (baby on the way and limited cash).

I'm trying to break 2:00. ( been stuck there since '06 )
Hopefully this Saturday it will come. I think a 1:55 is realistic with the new motor. KT

Great - good luck. I dropped from 2:10's to 2:04's at the end of last year. This year I'm doing 2:06/7's but the tires are DONE.
New R888 arriving soon.

Turn #2 Infineon Racewway
Long time! It took me 30 minutes to go threw my blotter on my desk to find my password for Pelican
I raced with both the 32 car and the 21 car and been creamed in turn # 2 myself last year at the last PRC even. Both drivers have great skills... but I believe the person being passed in that corner almost must yield to be passed clean by a car of similar speed |

No Joy.
Can't get below a 2:02 on these old 888's with a passenger. Oh, well. KT

Hey, ignore my lap times!
Had had my new suspension and old tires and was 3-5 seconds slower than normal (which I think made Gary happy) and was very disappointing. I missed having Ferd around to try and chase down (not that I could have at this event). I picked up a couple sets of new tires yesterday so I'm ready for fun again.

After reading what i wrote about turn #2 at Infineon I must clarify. I think two guys racing that on any given day that have similar lap time ( give or take a 1/2 sec. or so) Demonstrating a text book pass has a low probability, due to the type of corner it is.
Is anyone going to the GGR DE Tom if your going,be so kind as not to will me into the dirt (Again) Lets race!! Ferd |

Ferd: I think I will be going. I need to get my new suspension set up and that appears to be the one chance I have before the next PRC race weekend. I never got close enough to will you out of my way at Buttonwillow on Sunday. I'm hard headed and strong willed, but not that good. Besides, you drove off when it broke and I had no bad thoughts for your axles (although now that I know your weak point ....)
