Fixing my oil leaks....
Looking for help re: my chains and more

If this does not work, I'm going to submerge the engine in epoxy. That'll fix all of the leaks!!!

Alex,

Glad to see you are in. I think it has been since January since the group has driven together. Kind of like a family reunion.

Ok guys, just a few updates. I think the best planned meet point for us OC guys would be the 91/5 interchange at 7 am, leave around 7:15 once we have gathered everyone. General admission is at 8 am but the halls don't open until 9am, I think if we get there around 9:30-10:00, we should be fine. The drive to the valley will take us around 45 minutes driving a safe pace so if we meet you guys at 8:15/8:30 at the latest, we can head out from there. Remember we are driving on Sunday, September 9th.

Dave, if you have an address to the Starbucks, will you post it and I will chart our route from the OC.

I have driven my car once in the past 3 weeks so she really needs this drive.

Any questions/objections, please let me know.

Starbucks Coffee: Encino
16461 Ventura Blvd # A, Encino, CA
(818) 906-3961

It's on the corner of Havenhurst and Ventura. Only problem with that spot, is that there is no freeway onramp going West. Last year we met in the parking lot for Ralph's. Basically at White Oak and Ventura. Anyway, either place is fine.

Dave

91/5 interchange at the Fullerton Park & Ride, just off the 5fwy at Magnolia. Magnolia & Orangethorpe being the cross streets. 7 sounds good to me. Arrive before 7, & shoot the sheet for a few , leaving no later than 715. Let's try to get a list of who is meeting where ao as not to leave anyone behind!

Red 69 - it would be a PLEASURE for you and your's in your fine '69 to join us! You might consider giving your cell number to Chris (84P) by PM. We can give you a call as we depart the P&R, and we should be to the 5/605 within 5-10 minutes of departure... Or, you could always just meet at the P&R. We will likely be going 5 to the 101...

Patrick

It's easy enough to go over to Balboa and then pick-up the westbound 101.

So, are those meeting in the SFV in agreement that we'll meet at the Starbucks at Hayvenhurst and Ventura, in Encino? If so, what time?

A note for you guys in the Valley, there is a little known west bound on ramp on Haskell. Thats maybe one block east of Havenhurst. Just turn toward the frwy. from Ventura blvd. A FUN 180 sweeper awaits!

If the traffic is good, we should be able to - I figured a 45 minute drive at acomfortable pace. My guess is we will hit a little traffic and the 5/101/10 interchange but after that we should be ok. We will probably use part of that 1/2 hour window to leave the valley no later than 8:30am.

A man with his priorities straight. I knew I liked you Ralph!

Don't let the show slide too much, I know of an '84 Targa that will probably be based there by next summer (keep those house prices depressed for me), and would like to join in then.
