Only a few cameras have that capability. Mine is a Minolta A2 .. . and those aren't made anymore.

btw, all those shots were just periscoping the camera out the s/r. Point & Hope.

Thanks madmmac, fo rthe complements . . . that must have been your gold 1984 Factory Turbo Look. (?)

Island's P&H is like most people using a tripod and sitting until the light is just so.

I've got a decent shot of your cars parked end to end at the XXX but it's still on the computer at home. So, better late than never, here is about half the pic's I took...

I'll be missing this one unfortunately. Going to race at PIR, hopefully the rain will stop now and then!

Won't make it to this one, can't be two places at once. Wanted to ask you guys what to think about taking along in the car for the June trip. Having asked this now I have probably put a jinx the car again. Last year Walker had it doing the top end.

I just had Walker do the top end on my Carrera and boy is it nice! In about 700 more miles it will get its 1500 mile valve adjust/checkup.

So far near as i can tell after 800 miles it hasn't burned any oil. Before I would use about a quart every 400 to 500 miles. The oil reads 3/4 to the top line on the dip stick. At most if he filled it all the way to the top line thats only 1/4 or so quart and we did that long hard run at last months breakfast. Those drives used to chew through my oil.

I can't believe I (we) missed the Mog! I was out late the night before (rallying!) and it was just a little too cold and wet that morning for a another drive to the eastside... Looks like perfect weather for a Unimog though, glad you guys had a good time.

Drago, thanks for the great pic of our arrival last month, instanly one of my favorite photos!

There were probably 10-12 cars in the novice class and I think most were virgins like us. The results haven't been posted yet, but we know we were not in the top three.

Lots of fun driving and exploring, hopefully our skills will develop as we begin to understand the ins and outs... I reccomend it to anyone who likes to drive and can find a suitable navigator.

There's another thread titled TSD Rally or something, but this site will give you plenty of info.

http://www.nwrally.com/index.htm

Any car will do, you just need a nice person with a strong stomach to sit beside you and interpret the cryptic instructions, a stopwatch, and some type of headlight/flashlight/maplight and a pen.
