Tow Rig for sale Chevy Suburban 6.5TD

As I've sold my car trailer and don't plan to tow for many more years, I'm selling my 1999 K2500 Chevy Suburban LT Turbo Diesel. Its a low miles (69,800), 100% original Black paint, one owner rig. The Turbo Diesel Suburban is really rare, so its unlikely anyone in the pit paddock or the concours lawn will have the same tow rig.

When I special ordered it at the dealer, I selected the barn doors, 3.73 rear end and every option except the factory running boards and skid plates. I later added aluminum wheels, running boards, and a custom audio and video system so its kid friendly as well.

It has also been updated with the power and reliability upgrades from Heath Diesel. It has their Max-e-tork ECU, Turbo Master, high flow lift pump, mandrel bent free flow exhaust and downpipe, and remote mount PMD driver. It also has the digital X-Monitor to monitor the transmission temps, boost pressure, and EGT. I road tripped to Heath Diesel and had their guys set the injection pump and add some of the upgrades. The Suburban with the Heath upgrades has just as much power and towing capability as the Powerstroke Excursion but in a chassis that is more in-town friendly.

I would like $18,000. Yes, that’s a significant premium over NADA or Blue Book values, but it is a one owner vehicle, has really low miles and is in great condition which is the reason for the premium.

I sold it back in January. Glad I did now that diesel around here is around $4.89/gal...
