1998 Boxster with 3.6L 996 engine conversion. This conversion uses the factory 7.8 Motronic with all system upgrades and CAN bus conversions done in order to integrate the DME. Engine has ~15k miles on it, chassis has 87k.
Car has updated 996 dot matrix gauge cluster with leather and carbon fiber surround and OBC. Car is silver with black interior with some black carbon fiber bits, 7.5 and 10x18 Sport design wheels . Many other upgraded parts including complete exhaust, motor mounts, intake etc. Much lighter and with none of the silly nanny controls to get in the way of the fun, unlike the later cars. $27k obo More pictures to come.

For those more interested in using the car as a track toy, I will sell it for $24k with the carbon bits replaced with the standard plastic trim and the 3-spoke wheel replaced with the stock 4-spoke.

   Car has new rear window as well. It may not be evident in the pictures but the front bumper has some parking scuffs. -Todd

As you can see from the picture, the car is recognized as a 996 by the factory PST2 with no fault codes on any of the control modules. (If there were a fault stored a # symbol would be beside the controller with the fault after the module scan)

C02; US emissions 013; sport technik package 030; sport suspension 222; traction control 224; automatic limited slip differential 232; 17" wheels 396; 17" wheels, cast 490; sound system 535; remote locking, anti-theft 551; wind deflector 582; storage pocket (motor cover) 688; radio CDR-210 The traction control is gone as it is not compatible with the swap. wind deflector is also absent. As you can see it has the M030 sport suspension. VIN also indicates it is a Stuttgart built car.
