911 "turbo" value
Time to get a value together for my car as I often think about scaling back.
Here are the details Body 1977 coupe Black respray a few years back with steel turbo flares. IT is a great 5 footer but if you get close you can see some solvent pops but everyone whom sees the car says it looks awesome. I resprayed it in my "booth" with dupount chromasystem No rust anywhere except a a minimal amount where the old acid battery was But it was only surface rust which I removed and repainted All new rubber seals inside and out New windshield with windshield trim as well New carpet in front trucnk and in car stock seats(front) redone 4 years ago no tears and done by hand by a local guy they are very nice dash pad is 8 out of 10 as it had a few scratches from what looks like someones ring but no cracks anywhere NHS boost guage but no other mods inside. overall interior is 9-10 Body is very straight just not a perfect paint job SUSPENSION rear coil over Bilstien from rebel racing sway away spring plates and poly bushings front suspension is stock but New ball joints and (new 4 years ago) turbo tie rod setup Wheels 16X9 and 16X7 fuchs with 2 in and 1 inch spacers respectivly with all new wheel studs as well Transmission 915 tranny out of 79 SC with new rebuilt half shafts and new sachs clutch and new clutch cable and throwout arm brass bushings in coupler and siene shifter Ignition 2 MSD 6al and 2 msd blaster 3 coils with supertec 12 plug dizzy supertec 12 plug wire set ups as well Fuel MS1(bitz racing setup originally) Upgraded(mapped) for the turbo setup with 3.2 intake and 30lb injectors GSF full bay intercooler 50mm Tial BOV Engine 98mm je 8-1 CR pistons 98mm QSC cylinders reconditioned and balnce rods from supertec steel head studs sc oil pump modded to flow 30% more from suertec twin plug heads from 81sc(small port for good off boost response) mildly ported/polished. the second plug is 12mm stock sc crank with new bearings of course Exhaust ssi/930 heat exchangers (321 stainless not the typical 304) with ssi 347 cast y and and all M&K custom exhaust from there back 46mm tial WG WG dumps out stock tail pipe exit and turbo exits mirrored side Turbonetics T4 to4e This car right now has about 300HP at .5 bar but is capable of allot more with a bit of a tune and fully capable of .7-.8 bar of boost with its build internally. I will post a few older pictures but pretty close to how it is now

I think you should try to sell the car here as opposed to in the real world where buyers are looking for bargains. You have a lot of cred here, maybe not so much on fleabay/cracklist...
Try some word of mouth advertising. People here will appreciate the car for what it is. You can get a premium here due to trust. EDIT: Nice car by the way, I am sure that somebody will like it a lot. Last edited by DDDD; 10-27-2008 at 12:42 PM.. |

Don't worry about a flame suit that you edited out. I know what a similar car just sold for to the UK and that is the ball park I was thinking though I probably won't sell just wanted in impartial ballpark/value as thinking of bringing up the agreed value for insurance. we all know its worth a bunch more in pieces though
