Vin# 301370 Motor# 901444 Black/Red and in Florida since new. 58,967 miles with same owner from 1966 to 2006. One cheap paint respray in the 1980's. Engine rebuilt in 1988 then parked in carport untill I bought it in 2006. Needs total restoration...engine turns free. Some restoration begun and many new parts. Has the normal Porsche rusty floor pans and fuel tank support/fuel tank. Has some rust around rear window bottom but I have a rust free CA section for that area. The body is very straight and solid. Also comes with aftermarket fiberglass front bumper and engine lid/whaletail. Has original factory steel front bumper and engine lid. Most part there and in boxes. Very few 65's left. One sold last summer for $90,000.00...it was not this one. A 1964 (45 know to have made it to now) are $200,000.00. I will restore this if it does not sell, so please no insulting offers or trades. Miles 58,967
I double checked the speedometer and this car has 58,967 miles.
The old owner says it is real. Please note he is now in his 80's. I have no reason to doubt him. |

Body work needed
A lot of people have asked what body work is needed.
Here is a list the body parts that need to be replaced. The part numbers are from Restoration DESIGN 517-663-4545 They have a web site. P-204 Gas tank support +P-200 Front suspension pan 194.95 P-218a Pedal foor area pan 159.95 P-218 Front floor pan 175.00 P-219 Rear floor pan 175.00 P-220L Gas tank left support 265.00 total 969.90 I have the rear window area panel 0 The rear seat area should also be replaced (salvage yard) 300.00 I would also replace the fuel tank 360.00 This cures 99% of the metal body work.
