87 Carrera like new, low miles
50 plus pictures here: http://picasaweb.google.com/uplife66/87Carrera#
This is a 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera. This car has a 3.2 liter engine (215 hp) and the superior G50 (Gertrag) transmission. This car has less than 111,000 original miles and has been well cared for and garage kept. This car has no evidence of sun damage, including perfect dash with no cracks etc. In the last few months I have spent over $9000 to make this car as good as new. Parts and repairs include: complete brake job including German Zimmerman rotors, new master cylinder, brake hoses, pads etc. Top end engine rebuild including $2000 for heads rebuilt by Rothsport Racing (all 12 new valves, valve guides, seals etc). Complete tune up (valve adjustment, oil change, transmission oil change (redline synthetic), new sparks plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor) new old stock fan blade, and new aftermarket aluminum fan housing (****** automotive cost $500, no more cracking or cracked magnesium housing), shift linkage bushings, 4 wheel alignment and gear shift knob, new OEM Boge rear shocks, expert paintless dent and ding repair ($400). In addition to this I spent a few days doing paint touch up, hand polishing, waxing and detailing. This car came with and has the following options: Guards Red (Indish Rot), Full leather interior (champagne and black color), central and power locking, power windows, sun roof, cruise control, factory German Behr air conditioning (currently partially removed but all parts come with the car) , 16 x 7 and 8 inch original fuchs alloy wheels, Sony AM/FM CD player with 4 factory speakers, heated and tinted windshield (Sigla German), full factory E tinted glass (Sigla German), automatic heat control, black headliner (great condition), front rubber air dam spoiler, electric windows, matching floor mats, rear seat belts, electric adjustable rear view mirror and drivers seat. This car has factory emissions equipment (catalytic converter) and just passed the Oregon smog test in May with very low emissions numbers. This car looks and drives very much like a new car. This generation of Porsche Carrera 84-89 is considered the last of the “classic” 911. The 87-89 are the most desirable of this series because they have higher horsepower, the G50 transmission and a hydraulic clutch. Price lowered to $19,000 or best close offer. Serious parties are invited to call David at: 503-860-4740

new price, $18,150
Web album link to 60 or so pictures here:
Picasa Web Albums - David - 87 Carrera I've decided to include extra parts with this car, a Euro premuffler worth $200 and a like new front bumper rubber smile, value $150 (total value $350). If that doesn't tickle your fancy, you can take a straight $350 discount making the new price $18,150. Some have been concerned about the hood, it had a minor run in with a ladder, the dent was expertly, paintlessly repaired and the area about 2 inches by 1/4 inch was touched up by me, with primer and paint, no filler. At the same time the front rubber smile sustained a small dent I've added pictures at the end of the web album to show the area. This car looks great in person, amazing for being 23 years old (manufactured 9-86). The hood is really not that noticeable in person, for the perfectionist take the new discount price and have the hood repainted on top...a $200-$350 job max.. For the $18,500 price I'm throwing in $350 worth of extra parts ( rubber smile, Euro Premuffler) or will deduct $350 if the new owner feels the need to have the top of the hood repainted. That is $350 worth of parts or $350 off....making the price $18,150. To clarify that is $350 worth of parts or a $350 discount not both.
