They just said on danish radio that 2 planes crashed into the buildings. First one plane in one building then another in the other tower...!? Terrorism again?

In swedish news it is claimed that at least one of the planes was a hich-jacked United jet... makes me sick just to think about what it's like there now...

I have word it was at least one acft from Bos to Lax. It was a American Airlines Hijacked Airplane. Just now they are begining to say a exploseion might have happened at the pintagon. Ofcourse the airport is only one mile away and yes smoke is billowing buy the biulding.

CNN.com and NYtimes.com are completely slammed - can't connect to either. Their is TV footage of the second plane impacting the building. Both planes appear to have been hi-jacked passenger planes - quite large and probably fully loaded with people.

President Bush announced he is going back to Washington, D.C. He was in Florida for a conference on education.

(NOTE: I took out my wise-crack about Bush. I made it before news of the Pentagon attack. I apologize if anyone was offended.)

The white house is being evacuated in a panic. A jet was spotted circling above. Not sure if it was a military jet sent for protection or another hijacked plane.

We received breaking news literally minutes after the second aircraft hit the WTC on Australian TV.

I remarked to my girlfriend that it's incredibly similar to that Tom Clancy novel and that the White House and Pentagon would probably be evacuated. Next thing we know, there's further tragedy. As

These goddamned people are not only attacking the United States, but they're affecting the way of life of people who enjoy democratic process thew world over. If security forces are alerted/upgraded and it ends with every Federal building having Patriot missiles installed on the rooftops then these fundamentalists have scored a win.

Something dramatic needs to be done to put an end to this madness. I've just watched the top part of the WTC collapse and I'm shocked to the core.

I can only hope that everyone's hopes and prayers are with the helpless people both in the hi-jacked aircraft and those trapped in the buildings attacked.
