STIFEKAT Here's a stock '83 motor

Hey Stifekat, here's a pic of my "stock" US spec 1983 S motor.

Take a similar pic of yours, and I think you'll see the difference. The runners on your "spider" intake are not as wide to the left and right, and therefore on the Euro, I believe you can look down at the valve covers. On the US spec motor, the intake runners effectively block view of the valve covers and the heads.
